Mrs. Magee's and First Grade Page

Welcome to my first grade classroom!

My name is Shanna Magee and I have been a Kindergarten teacher at Peavy Primary in Texas for 22 years. This year, I will be taking on a new challenge. I will be teaching first grade! I will have three of kindergarten students from last year, so I'm very excited about that!

Because we are a primary school, the school is painted in primary colors, and because we have four hallways, we have also included the color green. I will be moving from blue hall to red hall. Because I am in the process of changing grades, this website will have to undergo a few changes as well. I will keep a lot of the kindergarten stuff because I will always be a kindergarten teacher at heart. As time allows, I will add first grade things. Since I'm new to first grade, I have a lot to learn. It will be a challenge, but I'm looking forward to it.
